Edgar started his career at Abris Capital Partners in 2014. Since then, he has worked on multiple transactions in industrial, consumer retail, financial services, and infrastructure sectors. In particular, he co-led the investments in DOT2DOT (premium packaging group), CARGOUNIT (locomotive leasing) and Graal (fish processing), and supported in exit processes from existing portfolio's. Additionally, his focus areas include Talent Management and the Baltics.
Prior to joining Abris, Edgar worked as a management consultant for over 7 years at A.T. Kearney. He consulted for leading global companies including 10 multinationals from the Fortune Global 500 across various industries on a wide range of strategic, operational, and organizational issues. Edgar gained private equity experience during MBA summer internship with Highlander Partners, where he worked on new investment opportunities evaluation and performance improvement of existing portfolio companies (i.e. industrial, financial services). Edgar started his work experience through business projects/internships at ING Investment Management, National Bank of Poland, and Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania. He is fluent in English, Polish, Lithuanian, and Russian.
Edgar has an INSEAD MBA with distinction (incl. MBA exchange at The Wharton School) and completed an executive education program on corporate governance by IESE and Harvard Business School. He is a graduate of CEMS Masters in International Management (Helsinki School of Economics) and Warsaw School of Economics (Masters in Finance and Banking, Bachelors in International Relations). In addition, Edgar followed courses at the University of Warsaw (Faculty of Journalism and Political Science).
